This estery and funky Jamaican rum was selected by esteemed Emmanuel Dron and Pawel Morozowicz. Tasting note: Prepare to be captivated as the initial impression bursts forth with an explosion of tropical, sun-drenched papaya, swiftly transitioning to intriguing chemical undertones… until suddenly, the aroma of green mango takes center stage. The unmistakable funk of this rum is undeniably present. As the liquid touches your tongue, a delightful sweetness envelops your senses, reminiscent of a delectable pecan nut tart. The palate is further adorned with luscious apricot jam, accompanied by a subtle, almost gasoline-like chemical essence (but fear not, only a pleasant hint)… And in a surprising twist, a delicate note of jasmine tea gracefully lingers in the background.
